7th April - Sh. Ch. Naiken Way Out West, JW was invited to compete in the Contest of Champions held at The Thistle Hotel, Heathrow.

                  He won his 1st 2 match rounds, only to be knocked out by the overall winner.

10th May - Sh. Ch. Naiken Yelena at Lougin won CC and BOB at Birmingham National champ. show - judge Mrs L. Blackie.

18th May - Naiken Zephyr, JW won the Junior stakes at Scottish Kennel Club - judge Mr R Sansom.

19th May - Naiken Zephyr, JW won his 1st CC and Reserve Best in Show at the Labrador Club of Scotland. (Judge Mr M Rawlinson)

                  then went on to beat his kennel mate Sh. Ch. Naiken Xclusive Dream, JW who won the BCC for Best of Breed!

8th June - Sh. Ch. Naiken Way Out West, JW was 2nd in Eukanuba champion stakes - judge Mr. B. Reynolds-Frost.

9th June - Ch. Naiken Russian Rhythm, JW went Best Veteran in Show at The Labrador Retriever Club champ. show and with her son & daughter

                   won the Brood bitch class too.

14th December - Zephyr passes his Show Gundog Working Certificate to become Ch. Naiken Zephyr, JW. He was also awarded the Charway

                           trophy for Best Labrador.
